The Hallowed Lands Update
The Hallowed Lands Update

Greetings, fellow Hubble Town residents! It’s that time of year for a bit of change in color, and a change of scenery! Starting today, Hallows Crescent is once again open to visitors alongside a brand new expansion of the area known as the Hallowed Lands. In addition to the brand new destination, Hubble Town is decorated for the fall and is home to new candy cauldrons full of sweet treats. It is also our pleasure to announce the new area and questline described below will be a permanent destination once you’ve progressed far enough in the Hubble main questline. To start your adventure, speak to Astra in Hubble Town once you’ve found Skip’s strange remote island.

Let’s get started with the news!

A New, Familiar Location – The Hallowed Lands

Welcome to the new land far away from Hubble Town! For our long-term players, you may remember the Hallows Crescent destination from 2025. We are happy to announce that Hallows Crescent is returning alongside this new permanent expansion of the area known as the Hallowed Lands.

The Hallowed Lands is a new destination available through Skip – you can unlock this area through Astra after completing the early parts of the main Hubble Town questline (report Skip’s strange remote island to Dr. Tuto). You’ll find yourself taken to the Hallowed Coast – a small area just outside of the Hallows Crescent settlement.

You can also find new and returning resources unique to the zone – tomatoes, blue mushrooms, pumpkins, resonant ore, and more await your discovery here (Dev Note: Tomatoes and Pumpkins will become less prominent on remote islands as the Hallowed Lands will feature them much more than existing Hubble spaces). Along with unique resources, a dozen new characters await you across 10+ new spaces.

A New Questline and a Revised Crescent Story

While your journey to the Hallowed Lands is new and unique, we found that integrating Hallows Crescent into a more long-term location would require a rework of the 2025 questline for the area. We’ve slightly modified some quests in Hallows Crescent and have retired a few seasonal quests that were available last year.

The new questline for the Hallowed Lands will have you meet the locals, find a strange geologist, and try to solve issues plaguing the area. Apparently, a strange fog has covered a nearby town and poisoned vines and strange ore has begun appearing rapidly throughout the Hallowed Coast. Do what you can to help the locals figure this out, and revisit old acquaintances to get help with these problems.

Part 1 of the Hallowed Lands questline is now live, with Part 2 arriving this weekend. In addition to these new, permanent quests being available, we will be releasing new seasonal content to Hubble Town and the Hallowed Lands next week. Stay tuned for more news!

Daily Taskboard in Hallowed Lands

Hubble Town is no longer the only place you can find daily and weekly tasks and quests! The Hallowed Lands now has its own Bulletin Board that will have new quests unlock as you progress through the main questline and meet new characters. Four repeating quests and one unique quest are live as of this update, with more arriving this weekend. Players who have completed last years Hallows Crescent may have a few bulletin board quests waiting for them when they arrive on their new adventure this year.

Upcoming Updates

In addition to everything released today, we’ve planned two more content drops for the Hallowed Lands and the Halloween season. We’re choosing to release these separately to better gauge feedback and determine how everyone engages with the new area.

Upcoming Content Drop 1

The next content drop planned for this weekend will include the second part of the Hallowed Lands main questline. This will also introduce new bulletin board quests, new characters, and a very mysterious anomalous location that you will want to bring to Dr. Tuto’s attention…

This drop will is also planned to introduce unique fish to the area. Get your fishing rods ready for some strange looking fish!

Upcoming Content Drop 2

This content drop will focus on Halloween-specific quests and other seasonal only content. A candy-hungry visitor will be visiting Hubble Town looking to trade some strange and new wares for a sweet treat – you better start collecting candy soon!

This update will also introduce a weekend-long Trick or Treat event – will you get some sweet gifts from Hubble Town residents, or get tricked and kicked? You’ll have to find out!

This will also introduce a limited time Halloween 2026 badge. News on how to acquire it will be announced this weekend.
